Work Appropriate Wednesday | Fun Fur

Hey everyone!

It’s Wednesday, so that means it’s time for another Work Appropriate look! Let’s take a peek at my favorite outfit from the past work week. I’m quite excited to share this one with you because I got more compliments for this than anything I’ve worn this month!

A while ago, I purchase a fur trimmed cardigan from Boutique of Molly. It’s since sold out, which is a bummer, but I’ll still show y’all how I decided to style it for work. First things first though… I have to mention that this cardigan made me feel luxe. My students even said that it made me ‘look like a queen’ which is basically the best compliment that they’re capable of giving me. My coworkers were also impressed with the look and asked me why I insisted on ‘trying so hard’. This cardigan made a simple outfit look like I put in a lot of effort, and that’s exactly what I wanted.

So let’s break down this outfit.

I layered this cardigan over a printed sleeveless blouse from Ann Taylor Loft that I picked up when I was home over the summer. As for bottoms, I chose some bright yellow jeans from the children’s sale at H&M. I buy a lot of my bottoms from the children’s section because I’m too short to buy big people pants. On the plus side, kids’ clothes are so much cheaper, so that’s pretty darn awesome. I chose my brown lace-up booties from Just Fab, and I finished it all off with my brown belt from Ann Taylor that I’ve had forever.

I’m so pleased with how this look turned out. I was running late and threw it together in a few seconds, but it ended up being my favorite outfit of the week!

It’s such a shame that this cardigan is sold out, but Boutique of Molly has such a great selection of clothes. If you haven’t already, I highly suggest that you check them out.
