Another week has gone by which means it’s time for another update in the No Repeat Work Wear Challenge! This week, the weather was a little more cooperative which meant I could finally start wearing some sweaters in the classroom. However, I was running late pretty much every day, so these 5 outfits are less than creative.
Meh. These things happen.
On Monday, I embraced the new fall weather with a plaid tunic from H&M. I layered it over a pair of plain black leggings from Target. Very simple, but super cosy. I cinched in the waist a bit with a black braided belt from Ann Taylor and finished the look with my studded Michael Kors flats. This is probably my favorite of the week because I actually took more that 7 seconds to plan it out.
On Tuesday, I quickly threw together a floral sleeveless blouse from H&M with a well-loved lavender cardigan from Cotton On. The gray ponte knit pants are from Ann Taylor, and I bought them years ago. I love them because they’re cut like jeans but are as comfy as leggings. On my feet, I have my trusty brown flats from Target. The necklace is by Pernille Corydon, and it was a gift from the Viking’s family.
On Wednesday, I wore a blue t-shirt dress from H&M (that in retrospect was a scootch on the short side). I layered it under a gray longline cardigan that I picked up at Burlington Coat Factory ages ago. The outfit felt a bit plain, so I added a printed scarf that I stole from my mom last Christmas. So far, it doesn’t seem like she misses it. I added sheer tights and my black Target flats and called it a day.
On Thursday, I was running incredibly late (due to a late night outing with my Danish class to celebrate that we passed out exam). So I quickly snatched a white t-shirt from Banana Republic and a printed cardigan from Ann Taylor. I paired them with my black H&M jeans and my brown Target flats because they were both within reach. The belt is from Ann Taylor, and the necklace is from H&M.
On Friday, I kept the laziness rolling. I wore some black leggings from Target under a tunic I purchased a year ago from Boutique of Molly. I added a thrifted denim shirt on top and my gray and black Vans on my feet for maximum comfort. This is one of my favorite outfits to wear to work, so I’ll probably regret using so early in the school year…
And that’s it for Week 4! I’m hoping to get my butt back in gear and get back to planning my outfits the night before. Hopefully these looks didn’t look too lazy!
