It’s time to share another week of work outfits with you, and I’m pretty excited about it! Why am I so excited? Because this week, I was in the staff kitchen at work, and one of my coworkers told me that she liked my outfit. I thanked her, and she went to say, ‘I feel like I’ve never seen you wear the same thing more than once.’
That’s exactly what I’m trying to do!
After over a month of this challenge, I’m still going strong. I have so much clothing that I’m not even close to repeating any of these outfits. However, I was certain that no one at work was noticing the effort I was putting into wearing something completely different every day. Getting that compliment boosted my confidence a little bit, and I’m even more excited to put together another month’s worth of outfits.
Let’s take a look at the first 5 outfits in October!
On Monday, I kept it pretty simple. The black jeans and the pinky-beige long sleeved tee are both from H&M. The floral kimono was a 100 kroner (about 15 USD) steal that I picked up from a discount store here in Copenhagen. The flats are, of course, my usual brown ones from Target.
On Tuesday, it was a particularly gray day here in Denmark, so I brightened it up with these yellow jeans from H&M. On top, I wore a blue and white striped button down from J.Crew. The boots are a recent purchase from JustFab. It was my first time wearing them, so they were a bit painful, to be honest. Hopefully, they’re more stretched out now.
On Wednesday, I was feeling a little more dressy, so I put on this deep navy and white, striped, turtlenecked number that I got from Boutique of Molly*. It has 3/4 length sleeves, but I was still a little chilly. To solve that problem, I layered a denim longline shirt that I picked up at a thrift shop. I finished this look off with some sheer black tights from H&M and my black boots that I picked up from JustFab last fall.
*This dress has been sold out for a while, but there’s plenty of other cute items on Boutique of Molly’s site. For a 20% discount use ANGIESCODE at checkout!
On Thursday, I was in a monochromatic mood (which is apparently very Danish), so I dressed head to toe in black and white.. The leopard print sweatshirt is by Moss Copenhagen, and I found it at their discount shop. The skirt and opaque tights are from H&M, and the sneakers were purchased at J.Crew.
On Friday, I wore a simple white and navy striped sweater by Mads Nørgaard. This is quite a pricey brand, but I bought it a discount pop up shop at Roskilde Festival in June 2015. The jeans are by Ann Taylor, and the boots are from JustFab.
Another set of outfits in the history books! Stay tuned because I’ll be back next week with 5 new ones!
