No Repeat Work Wear Challenge | Weeks 10 and 11 [Nov 7-18]

Hey y’all!

Two weeks have gone by since I’ve shared anything for the No Repeat Work Wear Challenge. So instead of the usual 5 outfits, there’s going to be 10 today. I’m still really struggling to find time to work on the blog due my schedule, but that’s just life I guess.

Anyway! Here are the outfits from November 7th-11th.

On Monday, I wore a striped graphic tee with a black mini skirt (both from H&M). To stay warm, I layered a green waterfall cardigan from Boutique of Molly, and I finished the look with some patterned tights (from Forever 21)  and black lace up ankle booties (from JustFab).

I’m obsessed with this cardigan, and they still have it in stock. If you want one for yourself you can save 20% by entering ANGIESCODE at checkout!

On Tuesday, it was Election Day in America! So I showed my patriotism by wearing my thrifted American flag sweater with my Ann Taylor jeans and my brown lace up booties from JustFab.

On Wednesday, I was emotionally drained. I stayed up until 2am watching the election, and I woke up at 5am to see it wasn’t going the way I had hoped. I dragged myself to school anyway, but I wasn’t really up for taking photos. So this flat lay will just have do. I was too tired to find new item, so I wore the same Ann Taylor jeans and booties as the day before. I threw on a cream Ann Taylor sweater and called it a day. Not my most creative moment, but I definitely wasn’t in a good enough mood to try any harder.

On Thursday, I decided to try to start pulling myself back together. I wore a chambray button down from Ann Taylor with a floral skirt from Plato’s Closet. It was a little chilly so I added a long blue cardigan I found at Burlington Coat Factory. I finished off the look with some navy tights (from who knows where) and some brown boots from JustFab

On Friday,  I was determined to overcome my election depression once and for all. I wore a red sweatshirt from Moss Copenhagen. ‘Smil’ is the Danish word from smile, and that’s exactly what I planned on doing. I paired the sweatshirt with a denim skirt from Banana Republic, some sheer H&M tights, and my trusty brown booties. Despite the less than favorable events of the week, I still managed to end the week on a positive note.

And now for the outfits from last week (November 14-18)!

On Monday, I wanted to be super cozy, so I wore a super soft, oversized sweater that I bought at Zara. I’m so in love with this sweater, and I fully intend to buy it in the other colors. I wore the sweater with my fave Ann Taylor jeans and booties.

On Tuesday, I wore a gray, bell-sleeved t-shirt by Kenneth Cole with a khaki green skirt from Banana Republic. I completed the look with some sheer tights and gray socks from H&M and my usual brown booties. I’ve definitely been favoring those recently.

On Wednesday, I kept it really simple. I wore a striped, long sleeved t-shirt from J.Crew with some jeans from Abercrombie and Fitch. I did mix it up a little bit by wearing different brown, lace up booties from JustFab.

On Thursday, I wore a gray sweatershirt that I picked up at Ross I think (can’t really remember though). I wore it with a navy and white striped skirt that I found at Plato’s Closet. To complete the outfit, I added some navy tights and some tall, brown boots.

On Friday, I wore a white t-shirt from Banana Republic with my black skirt from H&M. The open cardigan and heart patterned tights are also from H&M. The booties are my usual black, lace ups.

And that’s two weeks of outfits done! I’m hoping that next week I’ll be able to get back to the usual weekly updates. Only a few more weeks to go before the winter holidays!
