Merry Christmas y’all! I hope everyone is having a wonderful day!
I got a little swept up in hustle and bustle of the holiday season, and I forgot to post the latest 5 outfits in the No Repeat Work Wear Challenge. I thought I would be fitting to wait until Christmas to put these up. It was our last week before the Christmas Break, so I tried to keep the vibe festive. I have way more options for Halloween, but I still had a few holiday pieces to work with. I might have to invest in a few more for next year though.
Let’s take a look at the last outfits for 2016!
(As an added bonus, this was the last week I had to wear the brace on my hand because the fracture is healed! YAY)
On Monday, I wore a boxy, red top by Glamorous that I found at a discount store here in Copenhagen with a gray pencil skirt from Ann Taylor that’s at least 5 years old. To keep warm (and add a little bit of green), I wore a long waterfall cardigan from Boutique of Molly. I finished off the look with black H&M tights and heeled booties.
On Tuesday, we had a school assembly about Danish Christmas traditions, so we were all asked to wear Santa hats. Of course I only had a leopard print one handy and had to plan my outfit around that. I wore some basic ASOS leggings and a gray longline tank top from Ann Taylor under a thrifted denim shirt. For extra warmth, I added a gray cardigan from Boo Hoo, and for comfort, I wore my lace up booties.
On Wednesday, I started to get more into the holiday spirit. I wore a black cardigan over a festive t-shirt (both bought from Boo Hoo). On the bottom, I kept it simple with my Ann Taylor jeans and my heeled booties.
On Thursday, the lower school held a Holiday Party, and I really got into it. I wore a red dress from H&M and added a bright green Ann Taylor cardigan, matching tights from a costume store, and my brown lace up booties. To make the whole thing even more Christmasy, I wore some jingle bell reindeer antlers that I bought at Flying Tiger. This was by far the most complimented outfit of the week, and it was also my favorite.
On Friday, we only had a half day of work, so I wanted to be cozy. I wore my Pusheen the Cat Christmas leggings from H&M which are basically my favorite thing ever. I kept it simple on top with a chambray button down from American Eagle Outfitters and a red cardigan from Ann Taylor. I wore my other pair of brown lace up booties, and I added some extra Christmas ridiculousness by wearing a unicorn headband that I got from ASOS.
And that wraps it up for 2016! I can’t believe that I’ve managed to put together 66 unique outfits since August. I’ve made it halfway though this challenge, and I’m excited to continue in the new year. We’ll see if I have enough creativity to make it to June…
