About Me

After graduating from Temple University with a degree in art education, I began teaching preschool in Philadelphia.

My dog, Sherlock, and I moved to Copenhagen two years later, and I was offered a position at an international school. Over 6 years, I created a successful early childhood program and served as a representative to the board.

I started a blog in 2015 to share my experiences as an American early childhood teacher living abroad. Through my relationships with other bloggers, I learned the basics of WordPress, SEO, and graphic design. More recently, I rediscovered my passion for drawing and began sharing my digital illustrations on my social media pages.

While I found teaching fulfilling, it left me incredibly burnt out, and I had little time or energy for creative hobbies. Earlier this year, I made the difficult decision to leave the classroom to follow my passions and build a new career.

I don’t know where my path will lead, but I’ll follow my feet.
